Ginger Ann Gunter, 67, of Bridge City, passed away on August 18, 2020, at her home.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Ville Platte, Louisiana, on April 28, 1953, she was the daughter of Nolan Joseph Devillier and Mary Nell (Tate) Devillier.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan and Nell Devillier; son, Randy Wilson; and sister, Kathy Walker.
She is survived by her children, Charles Wilson and Scott (Heather) Wilson; grandchildren, Corey Wilson, Randi Wilson, Chuck Wilson, Scotty Wilson, and Jacob Wilson; siblings, Wayne Devillier and Gwen (Tony) Titus; personal friend, Connie Reese; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

oh lord I am so sorry to hear this. I never saw her without her cheerful smiling welcome. She never showed any sign of negative thinking in the years I was around her. Such a huge heart, she took in all of us in hard times into her heart. A mentor even though she was younger than me. Trustworthy with all our secrets and so damn calm. She touched so many of us in her sensible careful way. She gave some of us courage, she gave some of us peace. She was SO ALIVE. I cannot imagine a world without her. I have not seen her in many years but it never occurred to me she wasn't somewhere smiling and welcoming. I am so sorrowful tonight. All who knew her are mourning tonight.
