Life was good in Orange and there family grew. She loved crabbing and gar fishing at the city docks in the cove. She also loved camping at the beach and Twin Dikes Marina, and she always had one or more of the grandchildren there with her. Gladys was very active in the Orange Chapter of the red cross during the Vietnam War.
