Gladys Tucker, 84, of Vinton, Louisiana, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at her home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Gary Wheeler of First United Pentecostal Church in Orange. Burial will follow at Niblett's Bluff Cemetery in Vinton, Louisiana.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home in Orange.
Born in Vinton, Louisiana on March 30, 1926, Mrs. Tucker was the daughter, of Arthur and Onida Laughlin Lormand. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Orange and a homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Tucker, Mrs. Tucker is survived by her daughter, Sandra Tucker of Vinton, Louisiana.
She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Kim Wooten Lawrence and her husband, Todd and Timothy Wooten and his wife, Miranda of Vinton; two great-grandchildren, Tyler James Wooten and Hannah Suitts of Vinton; seven nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Dalton Murphy, Aubrey Lormand, Clifford Key, Larry Lormand, Jim McKay and Larry Mayfield. Honorary Pallbearer will be Travis Odom.
