Glenda Faye Franklin, 70, of Buna, passed away on June 16, 2014, at her home.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 20, 2014 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Jason White of Parkwood Missionary Baptist Church in Buna.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday June 19, 2014 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas, on December 18, 1943, she was the daughter of Cliff Bourgeois and Margaret Dailey. Glenda was married to her husband, Garlan for 52 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garlan Franklin; mother, Margaret Dailey; step-father, Gerald Dailey; father, Cliff Bourgeois; step-mother, Grace Bourgeois; and grandparents, Malena and Clarence Bordelon.

She is survived by her children, Ramona Seeber and husband, Thom, Randal Franklin and wife, Teresa, Nacole Barron and husband, Wade; grandchildren, Amber Garcia, Tyson Pitre, Carrie Ingalls, Joshua Sims, Lindsey Cormier, and Kody Fisette; and great-grandchildren, Gavin Garcia, Gracie Ingalls, Jamie Ingalls, Tyson Joseph Pitre, and Jace Garcia.
