Glenda Faye McCauley
Glenda Faye McCauley, 87, of Orange, Texas, passed away on August 25, 2024, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Trout Creek Cemetery in Newton County, Texas.
Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Pineland, Texas, on April 19, 1937, she was the daughter of Emma Hambrick. A devoted member of Bengal Guard during her school years, Glenda was known for her being a devoted mother, spirited nature and strong will that defined her character throughout her life. Glenda's passions included crocheting, reading, and tending to her beloved rose garden. These pursuits illustrated not only her creativity but also her nurturing spirit, which she freely shared with everyone around her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, and her sweet and caring demeanor made a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to know her. As an active member of the Six Mile Baptist Church, Glenda embodied the values of faith and community, touching the lives of many through her genuine kindness and generosity. Her role as “Mamoo” to her grandbabies brought her immense pride and happiness; she relished every moment spent nurturing them and creating lifelong memories. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Emma Hambrick; her husband, Wayne McCauley; her son, Russel Wayne McCauley; Cressy McCauley; and her siblings.
She is survived by her daughters, Maurena Ramsey, Cynthia McCauley, and Denise and Lloyd Jolley; her grandchildren, Adam Kazmierski, Jessica Ann Skidmore, Brittany Foxworth, Marcus Ramsey, Travis Kazmierski, Valerie LeBlue, ; her great grandchildren, Addison Kazmierski, Paityn Foxworth, Bailey Foxworth, Kaydence Lambert, Mason Metzler, Jonathan House and Jack Metzler; her daughter in law, Bonny McCauley; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
