Gloria ‘Dianne’ Breaux Del Barto, 70, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, was called to be with the Lord on October 23, 2021, surrounded by her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 4, 2021, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City, Texas. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in West Orange, Texas.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas.
Born in Orange, Texas on May 24, 1951, she was the daughter of Leroy Breaux and Dorothy Fox. She was the 3rd born of 8 children and grew up in Bridge City, Texas. After marrying Caro Del Barto in 1970, they moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where Caro was stationed in the US Army. Then moved to Orange, TX, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Dallas, New Orleans, and finally settling down in Cape Coral, Florida in 1987. Dianne held many jobs in her life including bank teller, and flight attendant but her favorite job was being a mom to her 3 children. She was an amazing seamstress and loved to make costumes for her children and the local high school theatre departments. She loved to dance and also do crafts including making her beautiful wreaths. She had an immense love for Disney World. Many family vacations were to visit Mickey Mouse. In 2013, she was promoted to her new favorite title, Nana. She loved her grandbabies with all her heart. Dianne was thought of as a mom by many who knew her. Her kind and loving nature ensured everyone she met loved her. Dianne will be sorely missed by her family and those who she thought of as family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Dorothy Breaux; her aunt, Gloria Breaux; father-in-law, Joseph Del Barto; mothers-in-law, Josephine Del Barto and Dorothy Seawright; brothers-in-laws, Philmer Johnson Jr., Nasser Mansuri and Glynn Fowler Sr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years, Caro Del Barto of Lehigh Acres, FL; children; Anthony Del Barto and Laura Newman of Katy, TX, Christina DeNoto and Chris DeNoto of Cape Coral, FL and Brittany Wenning and Rob Wenning of Mandeville, LA. Her 7 siblings; Yvonne and Charles Bigler of Bridge City, TX, Daniel Breaux of Bridge City, TX, Peggy and Bobby Hammock of Cleveland, TX; Don and Angie Breaux of Bridge City, TX, Colleen Fowler of Bridge City, TX; Sheryl and Mark Davis of Hemphill TX, Steve Breaux of Orange, TX; and 6 grandchildren, Jaxon and Adeline Wenning; Emma, Layla, Elizabeth and Jackson McQuade.
Serving as pallbearers will be Anthony Del Barto, Christina DeNoto, Chris DeNoto, Rob Wenning, Jerrod Kuzma, Daniel Breaux, Don Breaux and Steve Breaux.
