Grady Rawls, 88, of Bridge City, died Thursday, May 24, 2007, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange with the Reverend David Green, pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Bridge City, officiating.
Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Jasper.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home in Orange.
Born March 24, 1919, in Jasper, Mr. Rawls was the son of Sebern and Beulah Jeanette May Rawls and had been a resident of Bridge City since 1949.
He retired from Allied Chemical in Orange, was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church; Bridge City Lodge #1345 AF&AM; V.F.W. Post #2775 and he was a U.S. Navy veteran of W.W. II.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Rawls, Mr. Rawls is survived by his wife, Mary Rawls of Bridge City; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sandy Rawls of Little Cypress; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Kenny Dupuis, Mary Beth and Larry McClure, all of Bridge City; grandchildren, Brian Rawls, Janet Cazares, David Dupuis, Adam Dupuis, Elizabeth Carter, Miranda McClure, Andrew McClure, Sarah McClure; great grandchildren, Cruz, Celine, Seve and Zion Cazares, Harleigh and Garrett Rawls, Justin and Hannah Dupuis.
