Guy Granger, 53, of Orangefield, died April 4, 2007, at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 7, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Reverend Rudy Elizondo, Jr. of Well of Hope Christian Fellowship Church of Bridge City will be officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Granger was born February 10, 1954, in Orange to Alfedge Joseph and Alice Marie Collings Granger.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Well of Hope Christian Fellowship Church in Bridge City.
Mr. Granger was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Granger, son Jason Allen Granger of Orangefield, daughter Elizabeth Marie Granger of Pipe Creek, brothers Charles Victor Chesson of Orange, James Glenn Chesson of Japan, sisters Alice Marie Boutte of Buna and George Ann Kay of Orange.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jody Paul Boutte, David Gryder, Herbert Dickson, Brian Malin, Keith Jenkins, Eldon Carman and Arville Hilliard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Chesson, II and Jason Granger.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be paid towards funeral services.
