Gwendolyn Marie Dyson, 76, of Orange, passed away October 25, 2025, in Orange.
Funeral services will be 10 am on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, July 13, 1949, Gwen was the daughter of Harlis Eddie and Martha Daniels.
Gwen married the love of her life, Bobby, in 1971, and began their life together. A beloved wife and mother, she dedicated her life to raising her family in a warm and nurturing home. Never wanting to be the center of attention, Gwen found her greatest joy in being the constant, devoted support to her family and friends. She never complained, instead, only asking how she could help.
Gwen enjoyed traveling, reading and being with her family. She was the epitome of love, grace and kindness.
Gwen is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby, parents, Harlis Eddie and Martha Daniels, mother-in-law, Frances Dyson and sister-in-law, Connie Daniels.
She is survived by her daughters Robin Dyson, and son-in-law, Weldon Smith, Heather Dyson, and granddaughter, Carley Lowe. She is also survived by her two brothers, Robert Daniels, Paul Daniels, and sister-in-law, Becky, along with nieces Suzy Hutto, husband Justin, Michelle Daniels, and nephews Justin Daniels, wife Brittany, David Sadler, and wife, Charlotte.
Serving as pallbearers will be Weldon Smith, Justin Daniels, David Sadler, Charlie Ragusa, Justin Hutto, and Lucky Bruce. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert and Paul Daniels.
