Hallie H. Hargrove
Hallie H. Hargrove, born February 15, 1913, a long time Beaumont resident, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 19, 2007. For the last two years she had been living in Georgetown Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William P. ?Bill? Hargrove and is survived by her three children and their families: Clyde and Madeline Hargrove of Lancaster Texas;
Nancy Anne Hargrove of Seattle Washington; and John and Sjanna Hargrove of
Georgetown, Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Casey Hargrove and wife Shonda; Seth Hargrove and wife Maricela; John, David, Ben, Kate, Anne and Ellen Hargrove as well as two great-grandchildren.
Hallie moved to Beaumont in 1941 from Plano Texas. She attended TCU and graduated from North Texas State Teachers College in 1941. She met Bill and after the war was married on December 21, 1945. She was very active in her church, St. Andrews
Presbyterian Church. Hallie also was very involved in the Beaumont community by serving on the board of directors of the art museum, the symphony, and Young Life.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2007 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church with burial following at Forest Lawn.
Her family will receive guests beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to service time at the church.
