Obituary
Harold E. Welsh, 77, of Orange, Texas, passed away on April 11, 2018, in Port Arthur, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Born in Point Marion, Pennsylvania, on December 1, 1940, he was the son of Harold Edward Welsh, Sr. and Olga L. Welsh. Harold worked for Orange County as the Director Sanitation for 31 years and was currently working as the Deputy Constable for Precinct 2. He was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Orange as well as being a part of the Lions Club, Optimist Club, and the Power Squadron. Harold will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Olga Welsh.
Harold is survived by his sister, Ronna Ann Dickman, of Orange; niece, Shonna Hunt and husband Gene, of Humble; nephew, Nathan E. Dickman, of Orange; and his great-nephew, Phillip Nathaniel Hunt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Orange Lions Club or to the Orange Noon Optimist Club.
