I was born in Beaumont, Texas, on October 2, 1979, the daughter of Barney Anders and Rebecca Walker. I proudly worked as a certified nursing assistant for over 20 years. I was a strong and hardworking woman, and I always did whatever I had to do to make sure that my family was taken care of, sometimes working three jobs. Many knew me to be a mother to everyone, with my home always having an open door. I loved hard and was loved greatly in return. Being Mom to my children and Nana to my grandchildren filled my heart with pride and joy. To my dear family and friends, I love you more than you’ll ever know… “to the moon and back.”
I am preceded in death by my grandfather, Carol Frank Ray, and my grandmother, Doris Ray.
I am survived by my father, Barney Anders and wife Tammy; mother, Rebecca Walker; children, Nakia Anders and husband Christopher, Guadalupe Mosqueda and husband Edwin, Issac Yanez, and Rosa Yanez; grandchildren, Camilla Aguilard and Kingston Aguilard; siblings, Hope Stanley, Max Copeland, Mindy Jackson, and Cherie Anders; best friends, Shonna Bacon, Tracy Medina, and Shekeitha Byrd; as well as numerous other loving family members and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Max Copeland, Chris Aguilard, Edwin Rodriguez, Issac Yanez, Paul Hargrave, and Lane Copeland.
