Helen Weaver

Helen Weaver of Bridge City, TX, passed away of natural causes on March 6, 2023 (just two weeks before her 96th birthday) surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Bridge City, TX.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, March 9, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Bridge City, TX. Officiating will be Rev. Keith Royal. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City, TX.

Helen was born in Summerfield, LA on March 20, 1927. Helen was the daughter of Charles and Artie Linder. She was a devout Christian, avid Bible reader, gardener, and an active member of First Baptist Church in Bridge City for more than 75 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Randle R. Weaver, son, Randle R. Weaver, Jr., father, mother, four brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by her children, Catherine Chatelain and husband, E. B. “Skip” Chatelain, of Port Arthur, Charles Weaver and wife, Carreen, of Nederland, and Virginia Weaver of Denver, CO, eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
