Henry Granger

Henry "Hoopy" Granger, 73, of Orange died Monday, September 29, 2008.
Funeral service will 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Chapel in Bridge City. Reverend Jim Hardwick of First Christian Church Orangefield will officiate.
Interment will follow at Mose Granger Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home
Hoopy was born December 15, 1934 in Orangefield to Noah Adam and Julia Madge Hill Granger.
He enjoyed watching TV, reading and playing dominoes and checkers. He was especially fond of visiting with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Floyd Granger and David Granger.
He is survived numerous nieces and nephews; sisters, Earline Michiletti of San Antonio, Olga Mae Alford of Orangefield, Patsy Jean Johnson of Orange and brothers Joe Neal Granger of McLewis and Jackie Granger of Spurger.
Memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Hospital of Orange.
