Inez Marie Rost Adams, 91, of Orange, Texas, passed away on January 12, 2016, in Orange.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 AM, Friday, January 15, 2016, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange. Officiating will be Father Joseph Daleo. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.
Born in Kaplan, Louisiana, on August 21, 1924, she was the daughter of Amedias Rost and Eva Vincent Rost.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfred Adams, Sr.; and brother, Claness Rost.
She is survived by Lona Mae Adams Richard of Kaplan, Louisiana and her children; Gerald Richard and partner Robert Fritz of Placitas New Mexico; Anthony and wife Tracy Richard of Kaplan, Louisiana; Gregory and wife Shelly Richard of Chappell Hill, Texas; Anne Richard of Kaplan, Louisiana; Renee Richard and fiancé Wesley Bertrand of Kaplan, Louisiana; Denise Adams of Orange, Texas and her children; Christopher and wife Suzy Matthew of Vidor, Texas; Nicholas Matthew of Orange, Texas; Alfred (Peewee) Jr. and wife Tamela Adams of Orange, Texas and their children; Chere’ and husband Adam Woods of Mauriceville, Texas; and Davlyn Adams of Dallas, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Gerald Richard, Anthony Richard, Gregory Richard, Christopher Matthew, Nicholas Matthew, and Davlyn Adams.

The most recent memory I have was a couple of years ago, her and Denise came to meet us for the Mardi Gras parade. We watched it @ LSC-Orange, she seemed to enjoy herself, but was tired and ready to leave as soon as it was over. My heartfelt condolences to the entire family. She was one of the sweetest ladies that I knew and she will most certainly be missed. Love to all. Linda Richardson
