Irving Richard Spector passed away April 10th, 2024. He was born to Toby and La,V Spector on April 19, 1957.

Before retiring, Richard loved to travel with his jobs. He loved posting on Facebook, he lived a life filled with adventure and connections to his loved ones. He had a kind heart and will be missed.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Funeral Services will be Monday, April 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Claybar Funeral Home, with burial following at Hebrew Rest Cemetery in Orange.

Richard is survived by two sisters, Kathy Addison of Kilgore, Debbie Jannise of Orange; one brother, Keith Spector from Orange; and nephews, Russell Johnson and Taylor Dobb of Austin, Keith “Bubba” Jannise of Mont Belvieu, Keith Jannise III, and Jamie and Jenna Jannise.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Toby and La,V Spector; and brother, Kenneth Spector.

Please know that your loss is heaven's gain. Richard always added levity to an otherwise depressing/boring social media page. And being 5 or 6 years younger than him, I was not sure we had ever met before accepting his "friend request" on FB. He assured me I knew his sisters and he was "harmless". He & his perspective will be missed.
