Iva Agnes Knox

Iva Agnes Knox, 85, of Orange, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at The Meadows in Orange.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange with Deacon Willie Posey officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Born in Ratcliff, Texas on August 22, 1925, Agnes was the daughter of Iva Mae Hager and James Clarence Kee. She was a lifetime member of the PTA and a member of MacArthur Heights Baptist Church. Agnes also was an excellent cook and enjoyed spending time cooking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harlan L. Knox; and brothers, James William Kee and Don Hager Kee.
Agnes is survived by her three sons, Michael Harlan Knox, Billy Jack Knox and his wife, Katheryn, and James Richard Knox all of Orange.
She is also survived by her five grandchildren, James Michael Knox and his wife, Dawn, Kelly Glen Knox and his wife, Heather, Chrissy Sorge and her husband, Tracy, Jamie Latiolais and her husband, Trevor and Tyler Evan Knox; nine great-grandchildren, Hunter Michael Knox, Trevor John Knox, Talon Lee Knox, Kendal Edward Knox, Ellisa Nicole Knox, Kale Jackson Knox, Kinley Elizabeth Knox, Harlie Joe Sorge and Codie Katheryn Sorge; and sister, Claryce Boozer of Sugarland.
