Jack L. Parrish, 90, of Orange, died Friday, May 9, 2008, at Baptist Hospital in Orange.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2008, in the chapel at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Webb City, Missouri, under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
Officiating will be Reverend Russell Ball, pastor of Forest Park Baptist Church in Joplin, Missouri.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Carthage, Missouri on July 29, 1917, Mr. Parrish was the son of Sherman Lewis and Elma Leota Keller Parrish.
He was a resident of Orange for over 50 years and retired from DuPont Sabine River Works in Orange.
Mr. Parrish and his wife were longtime members of First Presbyterian Church in Orange, where he served as an elder and deacon.
Preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Anna Louise Parrish, he is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Barbara Parrish of Orange, Jack F. and Margaret Parrish of Joplin, Missouri; sister, Fern Smith of New Port Beach, California; seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Parrish, Jim Parrish, Jack H. Parrish, Jeff Parrish, Justyn Parrish and Jacob Fauvergue.
