Jackie L. Miller, 74, of Orange, died Saturday, May 22, 2010 in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Dale Lee of Cowboy Church of Orange County.
Burial will follow at Bob Herrin Cemetery in Bon Wier, TX.
Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home in Orange.
Mr. Miller was born on September 24, 1935 in Edith, LA. He is the son of Gail and Alma Herrin Miller. Mr. Miller worked as a painting supervisor at Levingston Ship Building Co. and Trinity Industries.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Nettie Miller.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Carolyn Miller of Orange; son, Jackie Glenn Miller and wife, Ann of Dallas, GA; granddaughter, Jaclyn Carraway and husband, Dustin of Lumberton; great-granddaughter, Addison Carraway; and step-daughter, Mary Ellen Raley and husband, Ronald of Buna.
He is also survived by his brothers, L.G. Miller of Orange and Floyd Miller of Hot Springs, AR; sisters, Velma Klipstein of Cade, LA, Maxine Tankersley of Deweyville, and Melba Pemberton of Bryan; and four step-grandchildren.
