Jack trained me when I started work at the post office, where we worked together until he retired. When I was pregnant he traded routes with me so I could have an easier time in the summer heat. He was such a nice person who never met a stranger. May God comfort all of his family, whom he loved very much.

Jackie and I went to school together 2-12. We played jacks before school and shot marbles. We were quite close in middle school spending the night at each others homes. We played on the same summer baseball team and played baseball together in high school where he played second base. I talked with him around 2005-07 when he was helping maintain my father's yard. He always was relatively quiet but he had such a calm disposition and was at peace with where he was in life. In speaking of events of the past he had a graceful and forgiving attitude when discussing things that had not gone the best. I'm sure he had a positive and calming impact on those he encountered along life's journey. It was a privilege to have known him. Charles Crim
