Jackie Lee Moore, 65, of Orange, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2011.

Born on December 20, 1945, Jackie was the son of George and Hazel Hogan Moore. He was a Vietnam Veteran and proudly served his country in the Marine Corps. He was a lifelong resident of Orange and was a retired iron worker out of Local 125. Jackie was an avid fisherman and hunter and truly loved the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, George Allen Moore.

Jackie is survived by his wife of 43 years, Brenda Sellers Moore; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Steven Campbell; son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Jaclyn Moore; 6 grandchildren, Patrick Campbell, Dillon Campbell, Tristan Campbell, Shelton Moore, Lucas Moore and Madison Moore.

Jackie was a wonderful husband and father and especially loved his grandchildren.

He is also survived by his 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy Ray and Pauline Moore, Chester and Gloria Moore; sister, Ann Marze; uncle, Louie O?Neal; aunts, Lillian Abshire, Edna Seihan; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Cove Baptist Church Fellowship Hall with Reverend Jeff Bell, officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange and Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory in Bridge City.
