James Willard Jackson, 63, of Orange, Texas, passed away on January 14, 2023, at his home.
Born in Beaumont, Texas, on August 10, 1959, he was the son of James and Donnie Jackson. James was a long-time police officer for Beaumont Police Department and Round Rock Police Department. He took pride in his work and was very active in Operation Blue Santa. James was a big sports fanatic, especially when it came to the Houston Astros and Houston Texans. Aside from sports, he also loved movies featuring Mel Brooks. James never met a stranger and was known to be a very friendly man. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Donnie Jackson; and his brother, Frank.
He is survived by his sons, Sean Jackson and wife, Linda, James Ryan Jackson and wife, Samantha, and Robert Lucas Jackson; daughters, Victoria Jackson (Nix), Alexandra Owens and husband, Jarrod, and Kendall Jackson; siblings, Tommy, Rick, and Cindy; and his 5 grandchildren.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

So much on my heart to say…. But one thing I know…. He loved his children immensely. My brother in law..,, cared about me and my children till the very end. Thank you Willard. The little things were the big things to my family. You are with Jesus, Papa, Mimi and your mom. Well done…. :hearts:

I got to know Willard when he spent some time caring for his father Jim. He was a very friendly, sweet and talkative person who loved to share his life as a child with his father to me. Willard now it’s time to rest and be with those who loved you, Kathy Bena :rose:
