To the family of Paul Permenter, I want to thank all of his girls and Ms. Jean for allowing me to be a small part of Paul's life. He was a character! I will always remember his big grin and his desire to live life on his own terms. He was full of determination and never let anything stop him from doing the things he loved. I had the pleasure of having many heart to heart talks with Paul over the years, and two things I know...He loved his family and he had a personal relationship with Jesus. My heart breaks for your loss, but rejoices in his gain. He is with his Lord and Savior now. At best, it's a temporary separation from his loved ones. So, today I celebrate Paul's life with each of you. Into paradise may the angels lead him. With love and respect, Nikki Vannoy, RN

Every time I would see uncle Paul, I think about the time that Scott and Shane were 3 and 4 and we went swimming at aunt Reba and uncle Paul's house. We went quite often because Paula lived next door and Colee and the boys swam together... For some unknown reason Shane was afraid of uncle Paul.. Shane was standing at the deep end of the pool and couldn't swim... Uncle Paul walked out of the house and said loudly to Shane in a kidding voice "hey boy, what are you doing here" . Shane jumped in the deep end of the pool and I had to jump in after him clothes and all.... Everyone that I know had such respect for uncle Paul because he was such a great man. He also, along with aunt Reba raised three great daughters... I know aunt Reba was so happy to see the love of her life...and I'm sure that Andi is already harassing him........
