James Randolph Wilson Sr.

A memorial service for James Randolph Wilson, Sr., 78, of Port Arthur will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel in Beaumont. Private interment was in the Houston National Cemetery. “Jim” was born May 1, 1936 in Louisiana and passed away at his residence.
Jim was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War and for many years served as a volunteer driver for the Veteran’s Administration in Beaumont. He was retired from the telecommunications industry where he supervised construction of cellular communication towers in Argentina and throughout Southeast Texas.
He is survived by his sons, James Randolph Wilson, Jr., William Joe Wilson; daughters, Johana Mercer, Connie Wilson, Karina Vega, Belen Melagrani, Hebe Melagrani; brothers, Fred Wilson, Bud Wilson; sister, Opal Moore; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
