James "PeeWee" Pruett, Jr., 52, of Bridge City, Texas died Friday, April 23, 2010, at his home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Randy Fults of Trout Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.
Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
Born in Conroe, Texas on May 22, 1957, James was the son of Alma Lucille Fields Pruett and James Alton Pruett, Sr. He worked as an assistant plant manager for the Letica Corporation.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Justin Breaux.
James is survived by his wife, Jennifer Pruett; grandfather, Cyrus Dumesnil; daughters and son-in-laws, Melisa and Horace Daville of Orangefield, Terri and Ferrell McGavock of Sulphur, LA; daughter, Nikki Pruett of DeRidder, LA, Betty and Chad Hartman of Groves; son, David Block of Vidor; 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Shelley Pruett of West Virginia; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Cyril Hoelscher of Edna; and uncle and aunt, Joe Wayne and Linda Pruett of Nederland.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Phillip Block, Kevin Burton, Junior Daville, Gabriel Pruett, Don Pruett, Jay Payne, Carl LeBlanc, and Chad Hartman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Andrew Daville, Bryce Figari, and Brad Pruett.
