Born in Jackson, Pennsylvania, on December 2, 1942, he was the son of Robert L. Bromley and Martha E. Bromley. Jan was an active and dedicated member of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Orange and dearly loved his church family. He was a jack of all trades spending time working as a publisher for The Orange Leader newspaper, an Operations Manager at Superior Tire in Orange, and was part owner of Alloy Wheel Repair. He had a very active mind and enjoyed inventing things, playing golf, and was a very skilled artist. Jan liked anything that had to do with cars. He enjoyed Indy 500 racing, was a Corvette enthusiast, and was even a member of the Tri-City Corvette Club. Jan loved his family, friends, and pets to his core. He was great “Pops” to his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Martha Bromley; sister, Alana Bromley; parents-in-law, Clay and Dorothy Hudgings; sisters-in-law, Jeanie, Margaret, and Leta; and his nephew, Gary Jenkins.
