Funeral services for Leva Noel Husband Fielder, 93, of Beaumont will be held on Tuesday, November 24, at 10am in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 9am prior to the service.
Leva was born on August 11, 1922 in Grand Chouteau, LA and passed away on November 24, 2015. She was the ninth of ten children born to Louis and Ozia Noel. She retired from Market Basket and worked for many years for Weingarten’s, providing for her sons and, later, their families. From fires to floods, she supplied comfort and aid through life’s storms. She delighted in her ever growing family, and welcomed each new member with joy.
She is survived by four sons- Armon and Orvalee Husband, Robert and Patricia Husband, Donald and Martha Husband, and Charles and Sheila Husband; nine grand children- Steven Husband, Randy Husband, Patricia Tanner, Richard Husband, Donna McFadden, Carol Stolte, Noel Turner, Ellen Gonzalez, and Dr. Carl Husband; and nineteen great grandchildren- Damon, Brittany, Jordan, Brittany, Bryce, Michael, Holden, Lucas, Storie, Jacob, Kyra, Elizabeth, Isabella, Oscar, Alexandra, James, Brook, Casey, and Emmet.
Her family is grateful to the staff of The Oaks of Beaumont, with special thanks to her caregiver, Darlene.
