Born in Clarksville, Arkansas, on August 20, 1955, she was the daughter of Buddy Lloyd Stevens and Alma Mae Cook Moler. She dedicated 23 years of her life to serving as a checker at HEB, where her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on all who encountered her. Janelle was a woman of many passions and interests. She had an enduring love for her family, with her granddaughters holding a special place in her heart. Known affectionately as "Nanah," she was their greatest supporter and confidante. Her family meant everything to her, and she was a wonderful wife and mother, nurturing those around her with unwavering love. Outside of her family life, Janelle found joy in simpler pleasures. She had a fondness for shopping and an innate affection for animals, reflecting her gentle and caring spirit. Janelle's ability to connect with people made her loved by everyone she met; she had a special way of making others feel valued and appreciated. As we remember the life of Janelle Boyd, we know that her legacy will continue to shine through the love she cultivated in her life, leaving behind cherished memories that will be held dear in the hearts of all who knew her.

What a wonderful, loving companion for my boyhood friend, Robert.

The first time I met Janelle I thought she was the most beautiful woman I had ever saw. Her blonde hair, her big beautiful blue eyes and her sweet smile. She was so good to my daughter, Kesha. I knew right then she would be the best mother-in-law to my daughter. Over the years we shared so much joy with our children and our grandkids. I say children because she nurtured my other daughters, Kesha’s twin sister , Janee’ and her baby sister, Nicole. She raised her son, Robert to be the best husband to my daughter. Kesha loved her as a mother and took care of her when she was ill. Janelle loved Kesha as if she was her daughter and I loved Ribert like he was my son. We had so many good times together in Our get together as a family. Every holiday, every activity Kiley and Kristina was in. These past few years, Tony and I became very close to Janelle and Big Robert. The love that they had for each other was very strong. Big Robert took good care of her. I will truly miss her but know that she is in the arms of our Lord and not suffering anymore. I will be praying for her family. They have lost this beautiful angel that lived and loved everyone she met.
