Darlene was the daughter of Jess Willard Faulk and Katie Loula (Petry) Faulk. Darlene dedicated many years as a bookkeeper and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Mauriceville. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She was incredibly active in their lives, attending all their events and showering them with love and support. Darlene also cherished memories of fishing with her husband in their younger years. She found immense pleasure in gardening and the quiet beauty of watching the deer in her backyard. Darlene's gentle spirit and loving heart will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Katie Faulk, and her brother, Jerry Faulk.

Janet is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Sam Hoffpauir; her son, Chad Samuel Hoffpauir and his wife Katie; her grandchildren, Mason Kirschner, Caleb Hoffpauir, Owen Hoffpauir, and Henley Hoffpauir. She also leaves behind her brother, Larry Faulk and his wife Aileen, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Loula Foundation that was created by her nieces, at loulafoundation.org.

Love you dearly Mom! We already miss you tremendously. Don’t worry about Dad, we got it from here. You fought the good fight. You never complained about pain or feeling bed. You were a trooper. We will miss you more than words can describe. I had many talks left in me, I wish I could only have a few more. We know your with Granny and Papa. Heaven gained another soul. You knew Jesus personally and without a doubt your at peace with Him in Heaven. Love you, your son Chad
