Jay Dee Brickey, 65, of Buna, Texas, passed away on February 13, 2020, in Nederland, Texas.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on April 27, 1954, he was the son of Bert James Brickey and Tulip Ann (Prewitt) Brickey. He loved hot rods, and enjoyed racing, building race cars, working and tinkering on motors, fishing, and taking his boat out on the bayou. He also enjoyed reading the Word of God, his bible. Jay loved spending time with his grandson, Connor, every chance he had, and he was a very loving father and grandfather. He was known to always have a good story to tell or joke to crack. Jay had a kind heart and would lend a hand to help anyone he could. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
