J.B. LaFitte

J.B. LaFitte, 76, of Splendora, Texas died, Sunday, October 21, 2007, in Humble, Texas.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2007 at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
A visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
J.B. was born November 3, 1930 in Center, Texas to Ernest and Onie Brown LaFitte. J.B. was a retired U.S. Army Veteran. He loved to cook, eat, tend to his rose bushes and go to his lake house.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lola Mae Ballard, Dezzie Hutson and brother, Lonzie ?Bud? LaFitte.
J.B. is survived by his sister, Lois Morgan and husband Lee of Lumberton and niece Connie Morgan Chesney. He is also survived by five nephews, Rusty Morgan, Jean LaFitte,
Jeff LaFitte, Larry Ballard, Louis Ballard; great nephew, Willard T. Chesney III U.S. Navy Seal and his loving, faithful companion, Tou Tou.
Serving as pallbearers will be Howard James, Jeff LaFitte, Rusty Morgan, Lee Morgan, Willie Morgan and Larry Ballard.
Honorary pallbearer will be Bill Morgan.
