J.B. Riley, 86, of Orange, died, Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at The Meadows Nursing Center of Orange.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Reverend Joseph P. Daleo will be officiating.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 5:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Mr. Riley was born June 18, 1920, in Rockwall, TX, to Clarence Leonard and Mary Myrtle Woodard Riley. He was a resident of Orange for 65 years and a member of Sheet Metal Worker Local 196 for 62 years, he was retired from DuPont Construction.
He was deeply devoted to his late wife, having been married for 60 years at the time of her death, to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a wonderful friend and father in law. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Ramos Riley, one brother and three sisters.
He is survived by his children, Michael James Riley and wife Peggy, Russell Riley, Darryl Lane Riley and wife Pamela and Charles Douglas Riley, all of Orange; grandchildren, James II ?Benny?, Elizabeth ?Christy? and grandson in law, Paul, Franny ?Nan?, Heather Chavonne, Jessica, Charles Jr. ?Chuck?, Chelsea, Meagan, Justine; great granddaughters, Haley and Alexis; sisters, Jackie Bean of Mauriceville and Geraldine Burnette of Seattle, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Riley, Russell Riley, Charles Riley, Darryl Riley, Benny Riley, Chuck Riley and Paul Klein, Jr.
