Funeral services for Dorothy Jean Johnston Harrower, 85, of Beaumont will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2007 in the Charles S. Kelley Memorial Chapel at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home with burial following in Magnolia Cemetery.
Her family will receive guests from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday.
Mrs. Harrower was born January 25, 1922 in Jennings, Louisiana to Verne and Nettie Johnston and passed away October 22, 2007. She was a homemaker who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Penny Baxter of Honey Island and Clark Harrower of Eagle River, Alaska; sisters, Ruth Nichols of Melville, Louisiana and Mary Linnehan of Conroe, Texas; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gray Harrower; sons, Gray R. Harrower, III and Scott Harrower; daughter, Debra Harrower; sisters, Edna Mae Resweber and Faye Bounds and brothers, George Johnston and Robert Johnston.
