Jefferson “Jeff” Glenn Kimbro, 36, of Orange, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014, in Orange.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2014, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Rudy Elizondo of Well of Hope Christian Fellowship in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00- 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Mobile, Alabama on February 27, 1978, he was the son of William Glenn Kimbro and Patti Gregory. Jeff attended Delmar Culinary School in Corpus Christi and loved to cook. Although he had a passion for cooking, he soon learned a new trade and worked as a welder. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and watching NASCAR. Jeff loved spending time with his nieces and nephew and was looking forward to soon being a father.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Kimbro, grandparents, L.B. and Frankie Kimbro, and uncle, William Jaynes.
Jeff is survived by his father, Glenn Kimbro and mother, Patti Gregory, both of Orange; grandparents, Jo McArthur of Grand Bay, Alabama, and Curtis and Minnie Jaynes of Orange. Sisters, Genie and husband James Campise, Jennifer and husband Robert “Tank” Gross, and Danielle Kimbro; brother, John Kimbro; nieces and nephew, Kylie and Alli Gross, Madison and Carson Campise, all of Orange. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Serving as pallbearers will be John Kimbro, Glenn Kimbro, James Campise, Robert “Tank” Gross, Rick Compton, J.W. George, and Eric Williams.
