Jeffrey Michael Grutsch, 62, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away surrounded by loved ones on July 28, 2023.
A Memorial Service will be held in his honor at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas.
A visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4, 2023.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, on September 12, 1960, he was the son of Louis Paul Grutsch and Carol Ann (Robinson) Grutsch. Husband of 38 years, father, grandfather and brother, Jeffrey Michael Grutsch was a Ohio native born and raised, from Worthington, Ohio. He was a plumber by trade and the hardest working man when it came to his projects of construction. He loved his family all and knew everyone and everyone loved him. He will be missed. Rest in peace my love, I will love you always.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Carol Grutsch.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Jacqueline Lea Grutsch; sons, Sean Michael Grutsch and wife, Tanda, of Orange, Texas, and Adrian Nathaniel Grutsch of Bridge City; daughters, Jennifer Suzanne Grutsch of Bridge City, and Amber Nicole Grutsch of Bridge City; his grandchildren, Kinzi Grutsch, Abigail Grutsch, Nathaniel Grutsch, Aiden James, Lillian Fletcher, Justin Jeffrey Fletcher, and Elijah Dunmon; his brothers, Richard Louis Grutsch and wife, Lori, of Austin, Texas, Scott Austin Grutsch of Columbus, Ohio, and Paul Eric Grutsch of Columbus, Ohio; along with numerous other loving family and friends.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

I remember he used to give me so much grief when I would mess up he was like a second father to me he always had everyone’s best intentions in mind even when he didn’t know say it the best way but he taught me and the boys how to do construction work and guided us through a lot of hard times when he didn’t have to R.I.P. old man imma miss you I’m sorry I couldn’t come I’m the only supervisor on call atm or I would be there love you keep an eye on Brian and twayne for me
