Jerry Frazier, born on May 29, 1941, in Orange, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, in Orange, Texas.
Jerry was known for his great sense of humor and always had a funny story to share. He was a passionate sports enthusiast, especially cheering for the Astros and Texas Tech. His greatest pleasure in life came from watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren compete and excel. In his leisure time, Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He dedicated many years of his professional life as a papermaker for Equitable Paper Mill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aleck and Mary Frazier; his beloved wife, Gertie Frazier; and his grandchildren, Robert Whittaker and Charlotte Whittaker.
Jerry is survived by his daughters, Avanelle Phelps and husband, Ronald, Regina Whittaker and husband, Louia, and Karen Hines and husband, Duane. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. He is further survived by his siblings, Wanda Procell, Andy Frazier, Glenn Frazier, and Linda Frazier, as well as numerous other loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Wilkinson Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 8, 2026, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Serving as pallbearers will be John Phelps, Aaron Phelps, Carson Phelps, Rico Vasquez, Taylor Vaughn, Clint Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be the Stark High Class of ’59.
