Jerry "J.R." Steele, Jr.

Jerry J.R. Steele, Jr., entered into Heavens gates September 30, 2019.

J.R. was born January 10, 1984 in Orange, Texas to Jerry Steele and Darah Ashworth Williams.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Joyce Steele, Dana and Nell Ashworth, Charles and Carol Brumley; and uncles, Gary Steele and Jim Ford.

J.R. is survived by his daughters, Macalynne, Janiyah, Austin, Daisy, and Gracie Steele, Zaiden and Kira Jones, and a son on the way, Jerry Steele, III; parents, Darah Ashworth Williams, and Jerry Steele and wife Cristina; Riki Hunnicut and Bree Jones; sister, Kim Adams and husband Eric; brothers, Carlys and fiancé Ashley, Adam and wife Lexi, Bradley Steele, and Nathaniel Lavapie. He was also loved and adored by niece Alexys Steele; nephews, Hunter and Lane Adams, Carsyn and Haedyn Steele; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as countless friends that he thought of as family.

J.R. was always there for anybody that needed him and was always the life of the party. His passion for racing, motorcycles, and being a mechanic was only superseded by his love for his family and friends.

Services for J.R. will be held at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, on Saturday, October 5, at 3:00 p.m. with visitation beforehand at 1:30 p.m. A reception will follow at Jerry and Cristina’s home in Bridge City.
