Graveside services for Jessie Michell Talley will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at the Rosedale Cemetery in Sour Lake.
Mrs. Talley was born June 21, 1908 in Toomey, LA to Aladan and Minerva Michell and passed away September 24, 2007 in Bellville, TX.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Emma Neel of Sour Lake; grandchildren Sherry Williams of Sour Lake and Debbie Wammel and husband Art of Bellville; great-grandchildren Jonathon Williams, Jeffery Williams, and Allison Wammel; great-great grandchildren Brian Berry, Abbie Williams, Hunter Williams, Gabby Williams, and Seth and Emma Williams; and beloved niece Nita Douglas of Pearland.
She is preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Talley, her parents, sister, Evelyn Wilson and brothers, Frank and Ovie Michell.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to the Sour Lake Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 506, Sour Lake, TX 77659 or a charity of choice.
