Jewel "Judy" Campbell Regan, Granny, 88, of Orange, entered her eternal rest on Monday, April 28, 2008.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 1, 2008 at St. Francis Catholic Community, 4300 Meeks Drive, Orange, Texas. Father Michael Strother will serve as celebrant. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 30 from 5-9 p.m. with a rosary and vigil beginning at 7 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Judy was born May 4, 1919, in Orange, Texas, to James and Velma Campbell.
She worked at Levingston Shipyard and retired from Sears where she worked in the Maintenance Agreement department. She was a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church in Orangefield.
She loved working in her yard, camping, watching the birds, and spending time with her family. Everything she did, she did with her whole heart; especially, loving her family. She truly lived her faith, and everyone who saw her knew this.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother; beloved husband, Floyd; sister, Emma Campbell Breaux; and brother, Ira Lee Campbell.
She is survived by her brother, John Campbell; brother, James Campbell and wife, Beulah; and brother, Charles Lee Campbell. Also surviving is her daughter, Emma Regan Scott and husband, David; daughter, Doris Regan Chapman and husband, David; granddaughter, Julie Scott Hughes and husband, Michael; granddaughter Beth Scott Ortego and husband, Eric; grandson, Matt Scott; and great-granddaughter, Heather Marie Hughes.
Pallbearers will be Dewey Scott, Norman Scott, Leonard Breaux, Ray Campbell, Jerry Campbell, and Kenneth Brown.
