Jimmy Doyle Beard, 64, of Orange, passed away August 5, 2020, at home.
Born in Orange, Texas, on December 22, 1955. Jimmy worked many years as a fabricator for Inland Boatworks. He was an outdoors man who enjoyed being out on the river in his boat fishing or building new things. Jimmy adored his grandchildren more than anything and used his woodworking skills to build them a small amusement park in his backyard. He enjoyed grilling for his family and always spent his spare time with them. He left an imprint on many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving girlfriend of 15 years, Dianne Ellett; stepchildren, Austin Ellet and wife Sierra of Silsbee and Levi Ellett and wife Chasity of Orange; grandchildren, Issac Ellett, Cadence Ellett, and Avery Ellett; and loving sister, Debbie Long.
Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
