Joanna Margaret Trotti, 87, of Orange, Texas, passed away on August 20, 2024, in Orange.  

A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 26, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. 

Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, on July 14, 1937, she was the daughter of Hershel Lindsey and Henrietta (Lindsey) Gibbs. Joanna dedicated her life to service, family, and faith, embodying a spirit that touched all who knew her. A very godly woman, Joanna's faith was central to her existence; she was a proud member of the First Church of God, where she found solace and strength in her community. She had an undeniable love for Elvis, whose music filled her heart with joy, and she cherished every moment spent in the company of her beloved family and friends. Joanna was known for her hard work and devotion, but it was her love that defined her legacy. Family was her greatest treasure, and she nurtured relationships that spanned generations.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hershel Lindsey and Henrietta Gibbs.

She is survived by her son, Artis Webster Trotti, Jr. and his wife Kenda; her daughter Ann Margaret Hoffpauir and her husband Gerald; grandchildren, Jonathan Trotti, Stephen Trotti, Danielle Adams and her husband Kirk, Stephanie Arquette and her husband Matthew, Denny Robbins and his wife Destiny, and Paul Robbins, Jr.; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, whose lives she enriched with her love and wisdom. She is also survived by numerous other loving family members and friends who were blessed to know her. 

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
