Johnnie Chance "Bootsie"

Johnnie Chance “Bootsie” passed away on Friday Feb. 9th, 2024 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Nursing Home in Opelousas, LA at the age of 95. She was born on July 1, 1928 in Beaumont Tx.
Throughout her life, Bootsie was employed in Beaumont at Sun Oil Co, Conn’s Appliance and Jefferson Country Sherrif’s Dept. as a dispatcher.
She is survived by her daughter Kary Warrick Landreneau and husband Charles; her son Gary Warrick and wife Debbie; her grandchildren Natalie Binford, Jonathon Gillis and Gary Warrick Jr.; step grandchildren Matt Landreneau and Stephen Landreneau. She was also survived by four great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Ron Chance and her parents, Jack and Lyma Burrel Gordon.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday Feb. 17th ,10:00 a.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins funeral home; 1155 North 11th St., Beaumont, TX. Grave side service will be at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine St., Beaumont, TX.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Prompt Succor Nursing Home in Opelousas LA.
