Jonathan Lewis Dowden, age 44, passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, May 18, 2020, at home.

He was born August 21, 1975 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a 1994 graduate of Bridge City High School and also M. Weeks Welding School in Nederland.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his father John Lewis Dowden, maternal grandparents, Homer and Gladys Burd of Bridge City. Paternal grandparents Edward and Leona Lewis Dowden of Kisatchie, Louisiana.

He is survived by his mother, Patsy (Burd) Dowden of Bridge City, Texas and his side kick, Flower.

Jonathan was laid to rest next to his father in a private ceremony at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange, Texas.
