Jonathon Brock Navarro, 25, of Bridge City, passed away on October 12, 2006.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, 10 a.m., October 14, 2006, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Jim McClintock. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m., Friday at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, with a Vigil service at 6:30 p.m.
Jonathon was born May 17, 1981, in Beaumont, TX to Sandra Callahan and George Navarro. He served in the US Air Force for 2 tours of duty in Afghanistan after September 11, 2001. After receiving an honorable discharge, he went back to Afghanistan as a firefighter for KBR for 2 years. Upon returning to Bridge City, he continued to serve as a Volunteer Firefighter for his community.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Linda Callahan.
Jonathon is survived by his parents, George and Sandra Navarro of Bridge City, paternal grandparents, Pete and Irene Navarro of Bridge City and maternal grandfather, John Callahan of Nederland.
Also surviving him are his brother, Justin and his wife Jana Navarro, of Nederland; sisters, Emily Navarro and Lari Navarro, both of Bridge City.
