Graveside services for Joseph A. Manning, Sr., 84, of China, will be held Friday, October 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the China Cemetery.
Mr. Manning was born April, 3, 1924 in Voth, Texas and passed away October 2, 2008 in Beaumont. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, a U. S. Army Veteran of WWI and a 32nd degree Mason.
He is survived by a son, Joseph Manning, Jr. of Gonzales, LA; four daughters, Mary Manning McNeill of China, Judy Davis of Galena Park, Janice Chapek of Pasadena, Sheila Berryhill of Whiteoak; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
