Born in Rochester, New York, on November 12, 1952, he was the son of Leonard Brozak and Genevieve (Pisarczyk) Brozak. Joseph began working for Dupont as an operator, and later retired as a program coordinator from Invista. He enjoyed listening to music, especially the Blues. Joseph loved fishing and traveled all over the United States to fish in the perfect spots and participated in tournaments. He had an entire room devoted to his trophies, rod and reels that he made himself, and other fishing memorabilia. Although fishing was his favorite hobby, his true love was his family. Joseph left an impact on many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Genevieve Brozak.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Debra Brozak, of Orange; children, Thomas “Will” Peck and wife April of Dallas, Kristie White and husband Donald of Orange, and Melinda Segelke of Orange; grandchildren, Britnie Peck and fiancé, Brian McKay, Brianna Peck, Kyle White, Emily White, Madalynn Weeks, Josephine Segelke, and Thomas Segelke; great grandchildren, Brayden McKay and Brodee McKay; siblings, Daniel Brozak, Leonard Brozak, Jr., Nancy Klein and husband Dean, all of Rochester, New York; his fur babies, Rosie and Ruby; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date in his hometown of Rochester, New York.
