Jospeh Clard Richard, 60, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on August 28, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, on April 2, 1960, he was the son of Preston Armstrong and Ella (Richard) Armstrong. Joseph formerly worked as a pipefitter and welder for American Bridge in Orange. He was a man of faith and grew up attending St. Therese Catholic Church. Joseph was a kind and loving soul who had a big heart. He cared for all of those around him and he never met a stranger. Joseph had a soft spot for children and dogs, and he always enjoyed a good game of dominoes. He was a wonderful brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Joseph will be remembered for his fun-loving spirit and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Ella Armstrong; and his grandparents, Zack and Beatrice Richard.
He is survived by his siblings, Brenda Ardoin, Peggy Boone, Lesia Williams, Sabrina Armstrong, David Armstrong, Preston Armstrong, and Ricky Armstrong; his special aunt, Wanita Richard-Tezino; as well as many nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving family members and friends.
