Joshua was born on April 5, 1993, in Beaumont, Texas to Otis Joseph Moreaux and Cheryl Ann Morris Moreaux. He was the sixth child of nine. At an early age, he was the designated family mediator. In 2004, he was baptized and received the Holy Ghost. He graduated from Sulphur High School in 2011. He immediately sacrificed his will and plans for a college education to help with the family business. In the name of family, he relieved his mother by learning the various aspects of the business that included: dispatching, invoicing, banking and payroll often times without compensation. Selfless...always willing to help in anyway...loved his family till the end.
He was a faithful, active member of Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Vidor. He was in attendance for every service. He participated in any skits or programs. He served in any capacity as his pastor requested. He was a church drummer, sang in the choir and later taught himself to play the bass. He was even a member of the “Moreaux Quartet” as the bass singer. He loved family times of four wheeling, back-yard barbecues, skiing, road trips and late night jam sessions. He fostered many relationships over the years. He always met and made a friend - never met a stranger and had a smile that would light up any room. He was mild mannered and his spirit connected with others without even a word being said. He was faithful, loyal and truly a man after God's own heart.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence Moreaux, Sr. and Lorna Pete Moreaux.
