Joyce Patricia McKeon

Joyce Patricia Lott McKeon, 72, of Sour Lake, was born February 3, 1936 in Orange County, Texas to the late Henry and Luie Mae Lott and passed away January 11, 2009 in Beaumont. A member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, she was a retired RN from Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. She was an artist and member of the Art Museum of Southeast Texas and the Baptist Hospital Nursing Association
She is survived by 3 sons, Bill McKeon of Silsbee, David McKeon of Hutto, Michael McKeon of Sour Lake; 4 grandchildren, Matthew Ryan McKeon, Christopher Duncan McKeon, Kelly Michelle McKeon, Aaron Lee McKeon; and one sister, Elese Barry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William James McKeon, Sr.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sour Lake. Interment will follow in the Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8:00 p.m. at the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont with a Vigil service at 6:00 p.m.
