Juanita Barbre Banse, 89, of Orange, passed away on June 17, 2020, in Orange.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Mr. Brent Alan Barbre. A graveside service and burial will follow at Sudduth Cemetery in Newton County at 2:00 p.m.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2020 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange
Born in Marksville, Louisiana, on November 27, 1930, she was the daughter of Steve Barbre and Mary (Henderson) Barbre. Juanita loved to go to the Paragon casino with her bus group. She enjoyed polka dancing and was a wonderful cook. Juanita left an impact on the lives of everyone she met and will be deeply missed by those who came to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Mary Barbre; husband, Joe Banse; siblings, Earl Barbre, Bernice “Betty” Kelley, Gladys “Tincy” Nixon, Ellis “Buddy” Barbre; and Steve “Steve-O” Barbre, Jr.
She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Nichols of Buna; and brothers, Alfred Barbre and wife Noreta of Orange, and Allen Barbre of Marksville, Louisiana; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
